Hello, my name is Chase, I'm 9 years old, and this summer I'm learning about organic gardening. I might be the youngest ORGANIC gardner in Enid, Oklahoma. Organic means without using chemicals.
My Dad is teaching me about a lot of things this summer. Some of them are.... planting, caring for and harvesting the garden. Before we sell our produce we test some of what we grow by eating it. Dad taught me how to make salsa and it is good. I'll share the recipe if you ask me.
We sell the things we grow at the farmers markets...

I'm learning how to ask people to try my fruits and vegetables. I try to give them value for their money and remember to thank them for buying from me.
The money I make goes into my budget box and I get to buy things I want if I have money in my budget. Also, I save some for things I'll need later.
We have a logo on our sign that reads.... "KNOW WHERE THE FOOD YOU EAT, COMES FROM".
